India’s first catering institute for street connected teenagers and young persons, Butterflies School of Culinary and Catering (BSCC), welcomed guest faculty and celebrated the graduation of trainees.
Guest faculty from eminent institutes continue to offer the trainees both theoretical and hands-on sessions. In September 2022, Ms. Chitra Awasthi, Director of Sales and Marketing at Le Meridien Gurgaon, Marriott International visited BSCC and shared her expertise of working in the hospitality industry for more than 20 years.
Trainees from BSCC displayed their culinary skills at an observation home for boys and encouraged the adolescent youth to join the program and craft a new life for themselves.
Three trainees graduated from BSCC and were placed in Pullman Hotels, New Delhi.
